Our Story

Guided by light. Rooted in local.

The lantern has long stood as a quiet guide on this stretch of the South Shore. Set beneath Bermuda’s Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, The Lantern Café is built on a simple idea: create a space that feels good to be in, and worth coming back to.

From morning coffee and matcha to sunset sessions on the deck, everything here is designed to bring people together — quality food, thoughtful design, and a strong sense of place.

Rooted in local

We collaborate with Bermudian chefs and makers, buy from farms in our own parish, and pour coffee roasted on island.

Local Lights

Every month our wall belongs to one Bermudian artist or maker — new work, a launch evening, and a spotlight of their own. Come see who is lighting the room this month.
