Barista

The Lantern Café sits beneath Gibbs Hill Lighthouse on Bermuda's South Shore — food made by hand, and a deck made for golden afternoons. We're looking for a barista who cares about the craft and the people on both sides of the counter.

What you'll do

• Pull consistent espresso and pour beautiful milk — dialing in, tasting, adjusting through the day
• Build our specialty menu: lavender honey lattes, ceremonial matcha, smoothies and cold-pressed wellness drinks
• Ring orders on the register, guide guests through the menu, and keep the counter moving with warmth
• Keep your station spotless, stocked, and ready — and help the team close clean
• Be part of Local Lights evenings and the life of the café

What we're looking for

• Espresso experience preferred — but genuine care and coachability beat a résumé
• Comfortable in a busy counter-service rhythm, Wednesday to Sunday, 8-hour shifts between 7am and 4pm
• Warm with guests, straight with teammates, reliable with time
• Able to work in Bermuda
